Why a FREE Inspection?

During a recent FREE home inspection, we found ‘professionally’ installed smoke detectors – provided by a national communications company – that were NOT installed correctly:

• One detector was installed 4’ from the floor at the bottom of a stair case

  • It should be at the top of the stair case

  • SMOKE & CO both rise

• A detector was just screwed into the drywall, no wall anchors were used

  • When the home owner went to replace the batteries, the entire detector came off the wall

• Another detector was found in the corner of the dining room

  • It needs to be spaced away from walls

• Each detector had CUSTOM 1-year [only] batteries meaning they need to be replaced yearly by the home owner

  • Get new 10-year battery interconnected detectors

• There was NO siren or audible alarm!​

On top of all this, they were charged a monthly fee!
